Affecting boilers, cylinders, kettles, and your mains water piping (especially the hot piping), limescale is very damaging, and expensive to the water user. Indeed, it can cause the fairly rapid failure of appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, and mains water cylinders - requiring replacement after just a few years. Combination (combi) boilers are especially vulnerable. Some consumers resort to water softeners. However, these are expensive, they have to be constantly replenished with salt, and they should be serviced, also. And yet there is no need of this expense. Our range of limescale inhibitors WILL stop limescale - guaranteed - for a fraction of the cost of a water softener.
The LimeStop 500 is ideal for combination (combi) boilers. It fits 'in-line' to your piping and comes ready-filled with 500g of Siliphos. Two isolating valves are included.
The LimeStop 1000 is for homes larger than three bedrooms, and comes with 1 kilogram of Siliphos, a wall-fixing bracket, and is available in either 15mm or 22mm.
With a LimeStop 1000 fitted, you may no longer need to add salt to your dishwasher. Give it a try. You may still have spots on your glassware. If you do, start adding the salt again, but we have had reports from satisfied customers that it isn't necessary, and a rinse-aid can stop that, anyway.
